Refunds, Exchanges Returns, and Limited Life Time Warranty Policy

Eligibility:

  • The 30-day period begins from the date of purchase.
  • The item must be in its original condition, unused, and with all original packaging, tags, and accessories.
  • Proof of purchase, such as a receipt or order confirmation, is required.

Refunds

  • We will provide a full refund for the purchase price if you prefer a refund instead of an exchange. The refund will be issued using the original payment method within 5-7 business days of receiving the returned item.

Exchange

  • We are happy to help you exchange your product for an item of equal or lesser value.
  • The exchange is subject to product availability.
  • If the desired item is of higher value, the price difference must be paid.

Return Process

  • Contact our customer service team at info@outdoorlightsoc.com within the 30-day period to initiate the exchange or refund process.
  • Provide the necessary details, including your order information and reason for return.
  • Our customer service team will guide you through the return process, including providing a return authorization number (RMA) and instructions for shipping the item back to us.
  • Please ensure that the item is securely packaged to avoid damage during transit.

Return Shipping

  • The customer is responsible for the return shipping costs unless the return is due to a defect or error on our part.
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping method to ensure the safe delivery of the returned item.

Inspection and Processing

  • Once we receive the returned item, our team will inspect it to ensure it meets the above eligibility criteria.
  • If the item is approved for exchange or refund, we will proceed accordingly, as you requested.

Sale items

  • Only regular-priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded, exchanged, or returned.

Contributions

  • Contributions are non-refundable and non-tax deductible.

Limited Life-Time Warranty 

  • Warranty Coverage:

    • A limited lifetime warranty covers the Outdoor Light Soc. Papillon & Bee, LLC warrants the Outdoor Light Soc against defects and workmanship or materials under normal use for the Warranty Period for one year of the original purchase and purchaser. If a defect arises and a valid claim is received within the “Limited Life-Time Warranty”, Papillon & Bee, LLC will exchange the defective product for the same color and size.

  • Warranty Terms:

    • The warranty applies to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
    • The warranty is subject to the product being used and maintained per the instructions and guidelines.
    • The warranty is valid only for products purchased from authorized retailers. 

  • Warranty Claims:

    1. To initiate a warranty claim, please contact our customer service team with proof of purchase, a detailed description of the issue, and any supporting documentation or images.
    2. Our customer service team will assess the claim and may request additional information or evidence if necessary.
    3. If the claim is approved, we will, at our discretion, either repair or replace the defective product with an equivalent or similar item.
    4. If a manufacturing defect occurs in normal use or the claim is approved, please return to:

    5. Prepare a package including the original packaging, defective product, and a copy of the date receipt from the store where the product was purchased. The purchaser is responsible for S&H. (edited) 

  • Warranty Exclusions:

    • The warranty does not cover damages from misuse, abuse, accidents, alterations, improper installation, or unauthorized repairs.
    • The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, including but not limited to scratches, fading, or damage caused by exposure to extreme weather conditions or light source heat/temperature.
    • The warranty does not cover incidental or consequential damages.
    • SOCs cannot be used on halogen or incandescent light bulbs. 

  • Limitation of Liability:

    • Our liability under this warranty is limited to repairing or replacing the defective product as stated above.
    • In no event shall Papillon & Bee, LLC | Outdoor Light Soc be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from using our products.
